23 month old child left behind at the airport. -did you read this ?

Our EconomicTimes in india gave us this news today. A 23 year old child was left behind at the airport. The parents and grandparents were all travelling together and they were in a hurry to catch the plane.They were all in a hurry to board the plane .Grandad and dad were under the mistaken notions that the toddler was with dad [by g dad ] and with gdad[by dad] and they were in different seats. As a result the plane took off without the little one. The security guard caught the happy little one wandering near the gate and the parents were intimated.
Have you missed your child when you went out anywhere even for a short while?

Yeah i read that. Air Canada also offered free pick up for that toddler. Foolish and careless parents gosh.

Well I heard this before, but I still don't understand how they forgot this toddler at the airport.Someone should have been holding his hand.Why did they not even realize he was not on the plane?This is really beyone what I can imagine. I am sure this little boy was really scared to dearh.
