How is your relationship with your stepchildren?

I am blessed with three wonderful stepchildren who are precious to me! I have helped raise them, off and on, since they were very small. Although it was really rough at times in the beginning, I am happy to say that we are friends now that they are adults. Stepparenting is a thankless job that will pay off in the end if you let it! Our four children (including one son from my first marriage) have blessed us with many lovely grandchildren! It takes time to get a blended family to feel like a real family, but if you hang in there it will work out in the long run in most cases!
