WARNING the elixer of life

You get points for completing the sims wants. You can buy special rewards with these points. The most expensive of these is the elixer of life. This is a social reward,. When the sim drinks it, they have better social skills than normal, and are more likely to make friends.
However if you use this when the sim's aspiration level is less than gold, when it is drunken, the sim loses one day of their life.
This is really annoying as I didnt notice what the aspiration level was.
Just a warning to all you sims 2 players.

I think all the rewards that you buy with aspiration points have negative side effects if you use them under a certain aspiration level. It's annoying when I try to use the motive raising zapper thingy and all my motives go down because I'm below gold aspiration.

yes, this is true!
you must take a look at your sims daily aspiration before you decide to drink it.
If your daily aspiration is low, it is better you don't drink it.
It's the best if you drink it when your daily aspiration is platinum.

I never thought that this game could be this interesting. No wonder so many people play them. There seems to be no end on how the computer can be used to while away the time. We do get so engrossed in the things we do on the computer that time becomes irrelevant.
