What do you do when your girl/boyfriend gets angry and does not talk to you and how do you make them talk?

ah yes the silent treatment, nothing worse than not being able to talk to work things out.but,as we gentleman all know that's an age old trick the women use just to pi** us off. and it works dosen't it ? i just go out for a while and let her cooooool off. just try to never go to bed angry, that's if your still not on the couch. I think its really immature when someone uses the silent treatment like that. Even if they dont want to be with you or are mad at you, you can still talk and express how you feel.

You can't "make" someone talk. When an individual is behaving childishly, you just have to wait for them to grow up and see the big picture.

I went through that w/ the guy I was seeing right befor him and I split he would give me the silent treatment and I would just stay away from him til he was adult enough to talk things out. When ready to talk he would say "I didn't want to talk to you for I didn't want to argue anymore w/ you and say something I might regret" I would say "fine if that's the way you needed to cool down then whatever" I fineally got sick of his childish behavior of treatin me like he did emotionally and said "I'm no longer going to let you walk all over me and treat me like you do then give me the silent treatment when I end up getting you mad and expect me to feel sorry for you. I believe that people should talk out there differences when in a relationship not shut eachother out.
