To all of the fans out there who actually appreciate a good wrestling match, I highly recommend FPW Returns for PS2. It features hundreds of wrestlers (about 300 real wrestlers, and 100 MMA stars), the deepest CAW on the planet, and the greatest and most "realistic" grappling system (relatively speaking, of course, given the nature of the sport). Throughout the years, played many wrestling titles, but nothing compares to Firepro in terms of gameplay and customization. The one drawback is the learning curve (some will say graphics, but I think the 2D sprites look wonderful, but that's all personal preference, of coure). The game can be downright brutal, and I'm not singularly refering to the holds. Even at it's lower levels, the CPU will totally own you if you don't adapt quickly. Thankfully, there are plenty of FAQS online, (which I won't mention here, simply google it) and a large community of gamers that have taken to it. I could go on and on about this game, but rent it for a weekend and see for yourself, you'll thank me for it later.
