One time my husband has to join a mission trip but we need money to pay the bills while he will be away for almost a month of no work because of the trip. Then, we prayed that if we can have money within the week, he can go. We just prayed about it and waited what will happen.
4 days before the scheduled trip, we received a card from anonymous sender with $800 with it. I could hardly believe but it happened. i just heard stories about something similar to this but since it happened to us personally I am fully convinced that God really provides even to the last hour of our need.
I hope people would really believe and trust in God for all their needs will be supplied according to what God promised.
did you experience the something like this?

So your saying that we can all quit our jobs and sit home and pray all day and everything we want and need will come to us??? Ha!! I think I will stick to an honest way of living and work to earn what I need...

I did not say that you quit your work!! just be sensible!!
I said that God provides when you pray.. but you still have to work. do you think we stop working and just sit down waiting for the blessings?
Please use your common sense.. sorry!!!
Thanks anyway for your honest reply!!!

I have a question; why you think (and I know it is impossible to know for sure) that God answered your prayer for cash, but has not answered many other such prayers, for example saving a child's life on life-support, returning a soldier from a war zone unharmed, helping a couple have a baby?

I respect your beliefs... I'm just being a questioning menace, because that's what I do.
Okay, so if God has a plan, do you think He would have given that money without your prayer?

with man things are impossible but i know with god all things are possible because he said that he would supply all of our needs according too his riches in glory through christ jesus so if we will only trust him and believe and have faith and allow him to be god in our lives then he will because he is able more than to handle everything concerning us i am glad that god came through for you in an hour of need i am praying about aspecific situation right now but i know that god is able too work it out on my behalf!!! so im leaving the matter in his hands and trusting him to work it out for me!!!!!!!

you are exactly right!!! If you trust in God, he will really do it for you if He sees it best. Sometimes, our thoughts are not what God thought about it. His plan is always best though it is not we think best. If we know how to rely on him, we can accept things even if it's not what we want for. That is if we trust Him to do his will on us not our own will to happen but His will be done.
Thanks for the reply.
God will answer your prayer according to His purpose.
]God Bless

i believe that god is behind the miracle. i believe that miracle is not only the big things like yours. suppose we get a headache, and we take an aspirin, then the next 5 minutes we get cured, that also a miracle. god also behind that event.
well, actually god is behind everything. good and bad. peace and war. health and sickness. god give us complete "gadget" to live our life (hands, feet, eyes, nose, everything we have). so god is behind everything we get using our "gadget", not only everything big and strange.

Amazing. I trully believe that god gives us all that we trully need. Your husband was sent by god to go on that mission trip and the rest would be taken care of. And whats great is that your husband gets to touch lives! I always depend on god for needs. Because I know he will always take care of his children .All we have to do is ask! Thanks for sharing your wonderful story!

I dont believe that it was god that provided you with the $$ for your family. But it was the free will of a stranger you generously sent it to you. God has no control over free will..

Melissa, you are right that God didn't put the money in the card and send it Himself. You are also right that God doesn't control our will. But He does have the power and ability to prompt our hearts. We still have the ability to chose whether or not to listen and act on those promptings.

I really have trouble believing that it was God that provided you with the money. I think you are very fortunate, but by claiming that God answered your prayers it just highlights the fact that you prayed for something materialistic/petty when you could have used that 'answered prayer' for World hunger or a cure for AIDS. What makes your prayer's so special? Why would God give you money when he/she could be putting an end to the genocide in Darfur?

Wow, did you really just insinuate that all people that have Aids don't believe in God and DESERVE to have Aids because of it? I'm really not putting down your religion, I think it's great that you are a Christian. I just think that that last comment was really out of line. No one deserves Aids.

Well, god provide our needs because we are willing to do his work. Others are just asking to gratify themselves not even thanking God for the blessings they received.
why do you think people have Aids? are they doing what is right? are they working for the Lord that;s why they got aids?
think about it.
thanks for your reply...
I respect your opinion hope you respect mine too, thanks
