Do you guys do anything weird with your food that other people just get grossed out about?
My fiance loves to have a slice of cheese in between two slices of buttered toast for breakfast. That sounds normal so far, right? But then he dips his toast into his coffee and eats it like that. His whole family does it. It's so weird to me.
When he eats oatmeal for breakfast, he sometimes scoops the oatmeal onto his toast and eats it that way. Also weird, also not for me lol.
I can't think of anything weird that I do when it comes to food. I don't like it when my different food items touch each other. For example, if my roast beef touches my salad, I get grossed out. It's not quite as bad as it used to be, but still. I don't like it when my sauces get mixed either or if sauce gets on something it's not supposed to (if I have fries and gravy with chicken fingers at a restaurant, and the gravy has touched the chicken fingers, I get turned off big time).

I like to dip potato chips in cottage cheese. And french fries into a chocolate Wendy's Frosty. Both those things are disgusting to most people who see me do them. But they're delicious!
I also like a slice of pineapple on my burger.

Ok, oatmeal on toast is good! I also like for breakfast, fried eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy........all mixed together, but the yolks have to be runny!
Love mashed potatoes and corn mixed. I also like to mix my meat and potatoes.
It all goes to the same place. What I don't like is salad touching meat. HHHmmm, not sure why.

I don't consider my favourite sandwich weird but, according to some former co-workers, it fits in that category. My all time favourite sandwich is made by putting a good layer of thinly sliced raw onions between two slices of well buttered homemade bread ... most times with salt and pepper but other times without.
I must say, until I read this discussion, I thought the weirdest food habit I ever knew of was my brother-in-law's. He always spreads molasses on his bread. He uses molasses like most other people use butter or margerine on their bread.

Hi AbstractEyes,
The thing with the bread and coffee..I do it, but without cheese and I dip it in my hot cocoa!
One of my weirdest food habits has got to be peanut butter bars (they are homemade and are actually like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups) in my hot chocolate! I usually make my hot chocolate as normal and I take a bar, dump it in the cup, microwave it for a few seconds for the bar to melt a bit and stir it in and sorta eat the bar while I'm drinking the hot chocolate (I use a spoon to eat it with lol and drink the hot chocolate like soup!)
I don't do it alot, I actually do it as a special treat but I still think it's weird!

I have seen people eat French fries with soft serve ice cream. @_@
I take my salads with a mix of meat, fruit and no dressing - my former colleagues used to get super grossed out when they see me munching down on it. I just ignore them.
Some people I know take foie gras with fig jam and a slice of bread.
I like a salty breakfast - meats, ham, etc - and I know some people find that gross. Sorry but I come from a country where breakfast isn't sweet and jammy.
