Did you find any plot errors in Harry Potter?

I found a few.
For example, remember, in the first book Dumbledore got an urgent owl from the ministry and left when Quirrel tried to steal the plilosopher's stone? Dumbledore said that he returned halfway through, suggesting that he was using a broomstick.
My question is, if the message was so urgent, wouldn't he have used Floo powder? Then he could have returned much before Harry's near death experience.
I believe the thing is, floo powder was introduced in book 2.
So in book 1 it didn't exist.Hence the delay.
Have you found any other plot error?

Wow these are pretty interesting. I guess though you could almost find a plot error in any book you read you know? It's hard for the author to make a perfect book. But these are good points that you mentioned. I only read the first and second books in the Harry Potter series.
