Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?
For me, it was my 3rd grade teacher, Miss Cook. She was a matronly lady who had never married. Instead, she traveled the world and brought back interesting souvenirs to share with her classroom.
Not only was she my teacher, she was my neighbor. She invited me over one day for cookies and she showed me some of her favorite treasures. She has some beautifully painted wooden shoes from Holland and she also had an armadillo skin. I don't remember where she got that, but it sure felt strange! She had masks from Africa and so many other things that I can't remember.
So what about you?

Would have to be a coworker from another country. He had to walk for miles and miles to get to a part of his country that would allow him a way to the US. His greatest memory was when he got a bicycle. His stories made me feel shame for the greediness here in th US. We take too much for granted and think we are owed things when everything should be taken as a privilege. I think because of the state of our country, we will soon see heavy regulation in many areas that the government will take over and we will no longer be the "land of the free".
