DEATH
When you see me lying here,
You think what a waste of life.
You see me as a doctor no more.
You think of the pain of loss.
you see your dreams shatter.
You think of it as the end.
You think how can you go on.
When I lie here watching you,
I see the pain in your eyes.
Like fire raging from your soul.
I think of what I've done,
Wrists cut on blood stained rug.
I think of the life I lived.
Depressed and cold-hearted.
As I lie here remembering,
I can see them laughing at me.
Each in their own way.
I can hear them calling me names.
Like stupid and dumb.
I can feel them hitting me.
As I walk away while the blood flows.
As I lie here, don't cry for me.
You see I've escaped the pain.
Of the world and life itself.
You see I chose this path.
When I slit my wrists.
You see I'm happy it's over.
Now I can rest forever.
