My tenth wedding anniversary is coming up soon and I don't know whether to go all out and have a big party or not. A few people I have spoken to say it is just another day and why make a fuss. Do people renew their vows on their tenth anniversary or is that left for their 25th or 50th. My husband doesn't really want a party but I would like to do something. What do you think.

Congrats to you and your husband on 10 years! That's a milestone these days so celebrate it! I've been married going on 27 years so my 10th seems to be off in the distance of time. We rededicated (renewed) on our 25th. I would have to disagree that your anniversary is just another day. Make a fuss over it, celebrate it, treasure it! As far as a party...for me as a guy, a nice quiet dinner, a walk on the beach and then a party at home for two only. Enjoy your time together and Happy 10th Anniversary!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. We have actually been together for twenty years but only married for ten. I think a quiet dinner and a night without the kids may be a good idea.

First off, Congratulations on making it to your 10th. Not many couples in todays society get to that Milestone.
My suggestion would be to have a romantic dinner alone with your husband. Most blowouts for Anniversaries are usually organized by family and friends not the couple celebrating. If you insist on sharing your day with people, just make reservations with your kids and close family and friends at a nice Restaurant and go out for a nice dinner to celebrate.
HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY

firstly, i b very thankful to you. if your husband doesn't want party, don't worry most of the people not like parties and all. bcoz, there is great rush of people in the party. according to me, you both have to go any lonely place, or the place which he like the most, like any restaurant, any particular place, etc. and spend time with him as long as possible......
