Car music?

Me and my Fiance argue about what music to listen to in the car all of the time. We usually play it out that whoever is driving gets to pick with the exception of a few veto-ed bands the other hates. But whenever we drive on road trips we try and make complilation cd's of stuff we can both stand, or take cd's of the few bands we both like. We can always listen to Meatloaf, Disturbed, Brand New, ELO, NIN, or Blue Oyster Cult and both be happy which is nice, but a lot fo the music I love he hates - and vice versa.
How is it with all of you? Do you predominatly choose the music? Do you and your partner share similar musical tastes?

We share the same taste when it comes to music. we love Rnb,acoustic,reggae and love songs. but sometimes, theres this type of music that he really likes that I can't stand to listen..it was some kinda gangsta style of music. like snoop dog or something.
but he rarely listens to it, because he knows that I don't want that kind of music. and he sometimes adjust on me.. he will listen to my music whether he like it or not. LOL.
