WHAT IS PAIN?

PAIN IS VERY PAINFUL. You should consider yourself lucky that you can feel pain. Pain is your protector. If you do not feel the pain of the toothache, pain in the stomach you might not care for tooth or stomach. If you do not feel pain from touching something hot, you might cause yourself serious injury.

Do you know that the Doctors cannot tell you exactly how the pain arises. It is generally believed that pain is due to an injury to the free nerve endings in the skin. These nerve endings in the skin will pick up some thing called sensation There is different types of pain: burning, cutting, gnawing, boring, and so on and so forth. What you feel as pain is probably a combination of senses including pressure, high temperature etc. So pain is a composition of unpleasant sensations Do you know when one get severe pain, we shout "Oh My God" Can you tell me, whom all we call when we have unbearable paid?
