In the Philippines, our teachers would tell us that we read English textbooks, speak and write English in school.By practicing, you will be perfect

its very simple.do voice chat with others.i got a lot of difference in doing that.you can paltalk,skype,yahoo for voice chat programs.you can aslo find a separate rooms for English programs.i suggest you to do voice chat with skype. skype also have skypecast where many people can discuss thier views in a group.

There are a lot of ways on how to improve in english. I think the best way to start is to learn and practice grammar thru the sites shared to you by bianroxas because it would be easier to construct sentences if you know the rules. Make it a habit to watch english movies. Try cartoons and animated movies as conversations on those are clear and direct. If possible, choose the ones with correct subtitles for you to be able to clearly understand and see the correct usage. Watch those more often and soon you'll get to memorize the words, how those are being said and be able to use them. Then, chat more often to practice and learn from other chatters. Don't be afraid to ask anyone about something that you don't understand or cannot speak. There are also english books that can help and guide you while you practice. You can choose to enroll in an english class but you will not learn everything there. Practice is what you need, to improve your english skills. Practice, practice, and more practice. Don't hesitate to speak in english even if you think that your english skills still need to be improved. This is my way of learning English that works with me. I did go to an English course when I was in high school, but I found that the best way to improve my English is to get familiar with the language. I watch English movies on dvds (and turn off the subtitle mode), hear English musics (then try to sing the song myself) and read English-language books. Whenever I found new vocabulary, I grab a dictionary and look for the word. The more often we find a word, the more familiar we will be with that word. That's my experience. Good luck.

You will have to practice much more,for listening will have to watch more english movies,and for improving speaking skills,you will have to pronounce and repeat the dialogues,which appropiate pronounciation. and for writing,keep mylotting.
