Have you ever done anything to help people trapped in striken-area?

Strong Earthquake of 7.8 magnitudes jolts SW China on May 12th,2008.The death toll is estimated at more than 50,000 today and another 102,000 were injuried. As one of my friends said, when God be not with us any more, we humankind should help each other and struggle forward together.What do you think? Have you ever done anything to help people trapped in striken-area?

That earthquake was a terrible thing and I am sorry for those who suffered. There is always a sense of sadness and a sense of the fragility of life on earth whenever nature does something like this. We seem to be powerless against forces of nature. I have not been up close to a situation where there has been a disaster. Sorry.
