What do you like about MAlaysia?
I love Malaysia, the place I love most is Sabah -The land below the wind and Penang-My Dad's hometown.
Its a multiracial, multietcnic culture ,I married one a Kadazan DUsun from Sabah,I notice the Sabahan people are peace loving, kind good hearted and very pleasant...I love my relatives from my hubby's side :)..and one thing I noticed they are forward thinking......buang yang keruh ambil yang jernih barulah teguh peribadi

Good day! Bah, apa cerita? :-)
I'm a newbie and finally I got few people in mylot talking about our country, Malaysia. I'm a native Sabahan and truly amazed by its nature heritage. What I plan for next year (2007) in my quest for exploring my beloved place is to go to Maliau Basin, The Lost World of Sabah. Anyone interested?

I joined mylot many months ago but not active. I just found this discussion and it was mentioned here 8 months ago. However it seems not much from Malaysia. I am Malaysian too and originally from Sabah. I like Sabah especially Mount Kinabalu. I hope to travel more deeply to see the whole Sabah.

I am not from Malaysia but I have been there two times (last one in 2005) and I like it very much. I have been in Kl and it is a lovely place (maybe too much traffic during the day) and not the best weather of the world but nice.

So.. you're from Sabah. I have a friend but from Sarawak. I notice that Sabahan and Sarawakians are very open minded people and they are very hard working people. Most of them have strong minds and they like planning way ahead for the best of their future lives. As for me, I am from Negeri Sembilan and here we still carry on our Tok Undang and all its adat. I was once invited to perform berzanji with my group at the Balai Tok Undang which was requested by the Tok Puan. Now she's already passed away just recently. Al fatihah to her.
