Strange as it may appear, the woodenboat.com forum has a section where 'the world and the Universe' is discussed in a huge variety of topics and contributed to by a large number of interesting and erudite contributors.

Are you trying to pick me up with that old line? haha
I've been a member there for years as I'm interested in old boats. Mine was built in 1850 for instance. I don't go as often as I used to and only read the contributions to the open topic section as I find it interesting. I'm too thick to make useful contributions. haha
