well, it would be not liking how am treating her son...diplomatically i'd say i'd ask the instances why she was able to say this. i hope i get a diplomatic answer for i'd tell her that at least i didn't have 4 children from 3 different fathers.

Hii there Best way to handle these matters are to live little bit away from your mil.Some of these people do have fond of pocking their nose in other's business. You should have tell her that if she has some problem then your wife should talk directly to you.If she does it again then call your wife and ask her infront of your mil if she is happy with you or she does have any problem

Try to find out what's the reason behind and do not act so fast, things will get more serious when taken abruptly. At first it is how the inlaws will treat you especially when they were not be able to know you better before marriage was arranged. Try to give them time to think over and show you are worth a consideration, you know what? its the hard truth that being married, you have to please or atleast convinced in-laws to like you. keep working and try harder than you did before, if still same thing happen. Then be yourself and forget about them. ;-)
