As evident in her pictures on her profile, she's a mother who takes pride & cares about her kids & family. As an animal lover, she also has two dogs. Furthermore, her husband in the military who's helping to defend our freedoms. She's a gold mine of knowledge, & has even used that wealth of knowledge to help out others when they were in need.
On MyLot, she has also helped in reporting violations to the MyLot guidelines. This has helped in making sure that monies paid out by MyLot did not go to those who did not deserve it. At the same time, she has also stood up to various trolls to try to make MyLot has a better atmosphere for us.
The one I'm talking about is sndcain.

Have not seen or heard from her in awhile, or you either, for that matter. Nice to know you both are still around.

I'm still around, but just sort of spreading myself thin. I hope things are going good with you & your husband.

I don't think anyone is listening. And that really does suck considering she is such a great mylotter. You would think that after all this time the powers that be would have pulled their heads out of their collective rear ends but obviously that is too much to ask for.
Grr.

Jimboalmost, I am almost certain you have had several incarnations here yourself. It is interesting to see you now and then.

Hello KrazyKlingon,
Oops! Silly me -- I had intended for my comments (above) about our 'warrior friend' to be a separate response.
Yesterday, I sought out this discussion to read any added responses from other MyLot members. When I could not find it, I naturally assumed that the discussion had simply disappeared, as so many have in the past. It had not occurred to me that I had absent-mindedly posted my response as a reply to another poster.
I'm thrilled that I was wrong in my presumption that the discussion had been deleted. I take that as a good sign! Perhaps, some day our friend will be allowed to return??? You know the old adage that 'time heals all wounds'. Might this be an example of that adage? One can certainly hope, eh?
OK then -- so I'm thinking that my goof might just entitle me to throw my name in the hat for that long coveted
'Knucklehead award'? What say you?

Well - it did end up taking about 3 weeks for that discussion about "prosecuting the victim instead of the criminal" to get deleted, & thsi one is only 5 days old. There had been many discussions on her that went bye-bye, & it left mine & Cyn's discussions for maybe 3 weeks. Cyn's is the only discussion that still survives. And now, this one.

Well - it looks like we're sort of competing for that "knuckehead award" I went to look for a pen to write something down, & I had one already in my hand. Oh - & when I went back to see if there were any more responses to this, THAT was when I finally caught the last part of the "knucklehead award" (Oopsie).

I agree with your description of sndcain. She did reappear but for a brief time. I wonder what happened to let her come back start over, earn few points then disappear again?

Sndcain is a woman with integrity, commonsense and erudition. As a member of the Mylot community she helps raise the bar and set a standard that in my opinion elevates the intellectual level of the community.
It is unfortunate to hear about her suspension - I have been away and discovered this unhappy circumstance.

Well - I do have some good news. She is back (See response #10).
I had a somewhat insane discussion from when she first got suspended, but MyLot saw right through it & deleted it. Only this one, & another started by someone else are the only two in the sndcain category that survives.

The community would be better served if the powers that be at Mylot took a balanced view and have the integrity to reverse their ruling.
