Do you really think that expensive shampoo, works any better then the cheap stuff like VO5? I mean i myself like the shampoo from victoria secrets, but i just like the smell...lol but i really don't think it makes a difference, maybe it is just me?

i would say that i prefer to use expensive shampoo. that is because it'll be more tender to my hair and scalp then the cheaper ones that i assume has tougher ingredients that might damage my scalp.

I think that you usually get what you pay for. I'm not a proponent of overly expensive stuff, but sometimes you have to pay a little more for quality. I would say the shampoo I used is moderately expensive, and it works for me. Overly cheap stuff can be harmful to your hair, and for super-expensive ones, you are simply paying more for the brand. In the final end, I think it is not price that should be the determining factor in choosing a hair product. It is whether it works well for your hair. I think that should be your basis in choosing a shampoo.

Well, I used Suave on my hair. I used Bsalm and Protein. This is a cheap shampoo, but it worked okay on my hair. So, I guess it really does not matter that much..

I think that for the most part, paying extra means you are paying for the name, and maybe the scent. But there are exceptions. I wouldn't use a totally no-name shampoo as I am not sure it would work. (I know dollar store liquid soap isn't as good.) Suave, VO5, and White Rain are excellent brands that work and are inexpensive, and come in a huge array of scents so anyone can find one they like. I do think I get slightly better results from Garnier Fructis, due to the anti-frizz ingredients, but maybe I just really like the smell. The extra cost isn't really worth any slightly better results. It depends on your hair type, and what extra ingredents are in the more expensive product.
