To cut a long story short, it was my first slow dance with my boyfriend. It was so special. When we split up I used to cry whenever I heard it. And since we've been back together I can't stop listening to it.
That's really happy where as my friend's reason is a lot sadder.
Basically, her Grandad had cancer and had fought it several times. The last time she was with him before he died "Hero" was on the radio in his car.
Why is it special for you?

If I shared with you the song I had my first slow dance to you'd know how very very ancient I'm getting!
I remember a Chicago song that I was really into when I was about 15 though which I used to drive my parents absolutely beserk with. I had a record player which would automatically play again ... and again ... and again. And I took full advantage of this facility! My Mum threatened to throw it away :-(
So, let that be a warning to you. Wear headphones or your Mum might confiscate your speakers ;-)
