Do you have your own website?
Web hosting used to be a topic for web designers and internet experts only. But now, there is so much information on the web about web hosting.
For my first site, my friend got a really cheap hosting for me. The result wasn't so good that I now opted to have a blog instead using those free blog platforms online. But now, I am thinking of developing my own site using the resources and references available online.
Any help you can offer? thanks so much!

I have been with STARTLOGIC for a little over two years and am happy with the host (I just renewed). There are many more tools and programs in my package than I am capable of using, so there would be no restrictions for someone who wanted to make a super site. I am not aware of any significant "down" time for the servers and they have always treated me fairly. I believe they offer a 2-year "Personal" plan for US$3.95/month which includes 60 GB disk space and 600 GB traffic with a 30-day money back guarantee. Check it out at http://www.startlogic.com

I have just done a search for reviews of Startlogic and I am more than a little bothered (embarassed) that so many people have had so many problems with this host. I urge you to search the web for reviews of any hosts that you may be considering before "taking the plunge". I didn't mean to mislead you but I truly haven't had any problems with them in 2 years. However, my site requirements are very simple and I haven't had to ask for much help in that time.
