Is there anyone out there who has suffered from encephalitis? If so, I'd love to hear from you. I had it when I was 4, and had a lucky escape in that I made a full and complete recovery.
I'd love to hear from you and your experience of the illness.

I have never experienced that illness, thank God but I do have a number of experiences with Rheumatic Heart Disease which is not as nasty but it does slow you down. I am happy to hear of your recovery. I hope your life is better now.

Thanks for your reply, and I'm really sorry you have rheumatic heart disease, which must be very uncomfortable.
Thanks for your good thoughts too....I had encephalitis way way way back in 1959 when I was aged 4 (I'm an oldie now LOL) and did manage to make a full recovery. I may have been slightly physically slower than other children on the sports field when at school, but I think that was the only side-effect from the illness.
Life is fine now apart from a bit of arthritis, but I suppose that's just one of those things which happens with ageing.
You have a good day and thanks again for your reply and lovely words. :-) :-)
