Really cool vampire book

So I came across this book and I decided to let everyone know about it. Hopefully there are some of you out there that like to read paranormal romances. What I really like about this author is that her characters are so funny. And in this book I relate a lot to one of the characters. Her name is Alexis and she is short like me, she is strong and independent just like me.
So the name of the book is High Stakes by Erin Mccarthy. I really don't know where I came across this book but maybe it was from here in mylot. so i decided to share this with you guys and see what you think about it.
Do any of you guys read paranormal romances and if so which ones?

i like reading vampire books! you probably must have read Anne Rice's vampire chronicles and the mayfair witches trilogy? i love them! i would love to read the book you are recommending and i just hope i can remember the title and author when i go to the bookstore.

Hey Secretbear^_^ Yeah I've read Anne Rice. She is the queen of the vampires. LOL. I might have to go back and reread all her books because I forgot most of it.

I love Stephenie Meyer and her series Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. She is totally awesome!

I've been trying to get her book from the library but I haven't been able to get them so far. Hopefully I can get them soon because I would like to read them. They sound really interesting though.
