Why do dogs do that?
My puppy will chew a stuffed toy apart until she gets at the squeaker then promptly looses interest in the toy. Shes never interested in the squeaker-less toys for chewing apart. her dad does the same thing.

She has had this toy for almost 3 months now and has yet to get the squeakers out of it. What is even better is she LOVES to play with it.
You could also take a look at http://www.giveadogatoy.com they have some great toys there as well

Well I no longer have a dog, but when I did, mine would do the very same thing. I too wondered why they would want to get this squeeker out of the toys. Then, they have no more interest in it at all.

My dog loves toys but his favorite ones are fuzzy toys with a squeaker. he also likes this rubbery bone thing that squeaks. He has a bad habit of carrying all th toys outside when he is excited and then he never has them inside when he want to play.
