What if we all went on a hunger strike

I was responding to another discussion (sigh) and this came to mind (giggle, come on you do it too!)... What if we all went on a hunger strike? (Drum roll please) No everyone quiet down, I am being serious. The cost of food is getting ridiculous, the price of soda's are $1.33 and this is at Wal * Mart... okay okay, so maybe not a complete hunger strike... but if we stop buying our favorite foods, the BRAND NAME, foods that are the most popular (yes the commercialized ones) maybe we'll get somewhere.... Maybe? Okay come on, it was an idea.... So what does everyone think, would this work? A Global thing... Like no chef boy R Dee
