This is interesting because some say that you can know what a person is thinking by the way he moves. For example if their is a man on the bank that looks suspicious, then it it assumed that he'll rob the bank. If there's a chick that is looking at you in a dirty manner, It means she is interested in you. Maybe that is why security guards and psychologists focuses on a persons body language to have a clue of what they are thinking and what they are. How about you? Do you believe in that? Do you have any experience that you figured out something about a person by his body language?

Body language and eyes are the usual carriers of information in case of thugs. They move slowly and stealthily. Carefully, they stalk the person whom they want to attack. Body language is also important in tryin to figure out a person's attitude, a technique which is used very frequently in Interviews, where the interviewer tries to concentrate on the person's body language and talk and eyes, to figure out what kind of person he is.

I agree with you. Communication is not limited with spoken or written languages. Gestures or body language are just one way of communication. Sometimes, eye contact, touch, a simple pat on the shoulder convey stronger messages than spoken words.

That made me think about words. Are words always the idea of what your mind thinks? Some people say that they are fine when a break-up happens but when they are alone, they cry. Isn't that weird? I believe that action speaks louder than words because words are not always true.

Words are just signs or symbols that we utilize to convey a message. I guess you are right that actions speaks louder than voice or words since the words we use may not be the appropriate one to say. Words, in order to be effective should be said at the time and in the right way.
"we're friends" convey a lot of meaning but once you see how two persons deal with each other, the way they look at each other, would make you realize what "were friends" really mean.

I think what you are saying is kind of right. I think you read how a person is feeling a lot more than you can actually read their mind. The mind is way too complex to ever be read just through body language. You can often tell when some one is disagreeing with or is upset by something being said to them. You can also tell when they are not being honest....... but using this one for an example, I don't think you are able to 'read what the truth actually is', you just get some clues from body language that what you are hearing is not the truth.

Yes you can read some person's mind by his/her body language. I have practice this art since getting sick and it has help me alot. I say some because there are persons who are very good at hiding his/her feelings. It is not everyone who will be vulnerable to make another know what's on their mind.

There are somethings that people do without even knowing that they're doing it... Not only that, by the words people choose to use, way they hold the pen, cup, etc., will tell little bit of that person... I studies criminal psychology in College & it's very interesting how we all do the things without even thinking about it... You know that saying lefted handed people by nature tend to be, not all but more likely, more artistic because right side of the brain controls the artistic side of person? Right handed person by nature tend to be more logical? Because left side of the brain controls memory & logics... Psychologiest found that by looking into people's eyes, they can tell if a person is likely to be lying or not just by looking at how eyes shift when we're answering... If artistic, or "imaginary" side, of the brain is at work, then eyes will shift one way, if interlectual side, or memory side, of the brain is at work, then they're telling the truth because they're "remembering" rather than "imagining" or "making it up" - or lying...

I can tell right away by the body language how one is thinking, by the way they dress, move, everything they do, I can tell what they are doing, I will add you as a friend,I find this very interesting.
