what i am trying to find out is how much weight can a car door handle before flying open when i am driving the reason i am asking is we just took a trip and man oh man every time my daughter leaned up against the door or if i was resting my head on the pillow against the door i felt so nervous that the door would fly open - i always make sure my doors are shut properly and also lock my car doors but just wondering how much weight can a car door handle - i am not the heaviest person in the world but i am not any little chicken either so please if anyone can help if it matters i have a 2002 chevy cavalier
