I am Wiccan. Wicca is an earth based, Polytheistic religion. We celebrate the seasons of the year. We believe in respect for all people and things. The main tenant of Wicca is "An it harm none, Do as you will". It is a religion of self responsibility. We believe that the energy that we send out will return to us times 3, be it negative or positive. We believe in balance and equality.
I am probably a lot more spiritual than I am religious but I do follow a Wiccan Path.

I have hidden my religion from mylot since i've been here. and I am Pagan. So, truthfully, I believe the same as you.
But, I am for the Light Path, not dark. There are some that are for the dark, but, that's just not me. :( I love everything Light.
Who is your main Deity? Mine, I guess would be Aphrodite.
I work with her better than anyone else i guess. I also have dealt with
Bridget. She's my second i guess.
Thanks for responding Sis.

hello Sis,
hope ya don't mind me calling ya sis. lol it's kinda short and sweet, ya know?
I agree with ya on the fact of the God aspect. It is all in one. and other religions either don't wanna realize that, or just want to believe what they wanna believe. Mind me ask, what tradition are you in Paganism?
I'm through traditional ways. No more than the ancient Gods and Goddesses. I would love to discuss with you more on your thoughts of Paganism. I take it so serious. But, now, sometimes, i might not be on mylot, for I study during the week of Paganism. I am studying more in the High Witchcraft. which is the NEW path that I am leading towards now.
Goddess/God bless you Sis. May you be enlightened by Her magick.
To feel the powers of the Goddess, is to feel the powers of God.
Let peace reign in you and be with you always.
Blessed Be

I don't usually work with any one particular Diety by name. I call to God and Goddess, for I believe in balance. Or I work with Great Spirit, which is more Native American and is all encompassing. My personal belief is that God is God. No matter if you call God Allah or Jehovah or Dianna or Isis. It's all the spirit of one God. these are all just different aspects of God. I do tend to work with the Goddess more often but when I pray it is often to God as well.
I'm including a poem here that I wrote about God.
God
I am father
I am mother
I am known by many names
I am in the Earth
I am in the sky
I do not play your games
You fight for Allah
You fight for Jesus
The truth you do not see
There's no one truth
No one path
For all roads lead to me
Sorry I have rambled. lol whats new right.
If you want to chat more about pagan beliefs I would be glad to do so.
take care

i'm Muslim. my religion is Islam. in malaysia, more than 60% are Muslims. we believe God is One only. He did not have a child or wife or mother. we pray 5 times daily to show our grateful to Him. He has 99 names but mostly known as Allah. He deliver his message through Quran and choose Muhammad as guidance & messanger. i know America & Dutch has a lot of problem with our religion. but i want to clearly state that our religion stress peace and safe; not war..

I am a catholic, well almost 90% here in our country are catholic. Funny though, that I know a handful of Americans who does not practice religion, or have a religion for society's sake. Is it really true that you don't care about it at all? Well, I just want to know. I don't mean to humiliate or embarass anyone at all

what's catholic? I've heard of it before, but never studied it before or nothing. i don't have any other family members that are catholics.
is it sort of like Christianity?
the reason why I posted this topic of discussion for is b/c i am wanting to learn other different religions of the world. it is not for school or anything,
It is just out of my interest of the different religions of the world.
Could you explain what your religion is all about on this thread?
there will be no judging of other religions. i look at the different religions through a positive thought in mind. i don't judge other religions, whether they are good or bad.
Thanks for your response.
