I am currently pursuing a Phd degree in Chemistry. As far as i could see, biology, especially in the field of biotechnology, is emerging as one of the most hot topics in Asia. Singapore has a great commitment into this field by having strong support from their goverment. By the way, are you living in Asia?

Yea,I am majoring in molecular biolggy,It is very hot in our country, china, even in the world I think. It is a vise move to support and develop biological industry to the government, but this industry is just a new one, there is still a long way to go. The 21st century is the century of life science,I believe. o(n_n)o...

I'm currently in high school and I've already got a couple offers from a couple universities. Either of the university is offering me admission into the program of Bachelor science. As for first year i don't really have much choice over what i want im specializing in. However ive already given much consideration to majoring in either psycholoy, cognitive sciene, or immunological studies. I find all of these programs really interesting and i honestly cant wait to start study any of em.

I major in information management and information systerm. Its name is very deceptive. We thought it is about computer technology before we entered university. We came here ,to find it is about library technology. But I do believe the old Chinese saying "there are 360 occupations......",which tells us no matter what you engage in,you have a chance to become a big guy in your field. The founder of Baidu ,Robin or Li Yanhong, who graduated from information department Peking university, set a good example for us :) I think biology is a promising field, because it deals with the basic problems of living, such as human's health, environment. I hope you make great progress in that field. Come on!

I am studying biology as an undergraduate currently. I love the field. You can go so many different ways with a major in biology and an interest in biotechnology. Many top tier U.S. universities offer graduate degrees in biotechnology. You can also do a biological or biomedical sciences PhD and be a research scientist. There are opportunities in the public and private spheres. You also can get involved with the business, legal, or ethical issues in biotechnology depending on your interests. Your options are wide open. Good luck with your career!

Hi there ASR! I am taking up Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in English. I think that it's a good course. I used to take up Bachelor of Elementary Education with specialization in English but I shifted course so that I can teach both elementary and high school pupils and I think I will find a job easily especially if I pass the board/licensure exam. Our country is always in need of more teachers.
