Who are you betting on for this year's finals?

As last year's winner, San Antonio has already proven themselves to be worthy of the championship. They have a solid team and a great coach as well as star players who really step up to the plate. However, I feel that the Spurs needs to improve on their defense especially when it comes to rebounding. On that point, they lose to New Orleans. Speaking of the Hornets, how awesome is Chris Paul?! He's almost as good as Kobe Bryant except that he lacks some experience and luck just seems to follow Kobe in any game he plays. Kobe's the best player I've seen so far. His scoring is greater than any other player and his moves are just brilliantly executed. I don't know why he can't always shoot during free throws but it may be because of his injuries. Anyway, I'm really unsure of who will be this year's champion, but I'm very excited to watch all the last games.

If the Celtics make it past the Pistons, and the Lakers make it on their end, it will be the finals match-up that all true NBA fans can appreciate, and new ones will be able to enjoy. I feel that if the Celtics don't win it all, the Lakers will. I think DET has a chance to beat LA by rough-housing Gasol, but the Lakers offense will have to be slowed down in order for them to effectively do so. It can be done over a 7-game span. However, I'm going with the C's. The advantage all the "experts" are giving DET over BOS is that DET is battle-tested. That being said actually refers to previous years experience as supposed to this year. In this year's playoffs Boston has withstood LeBron who single-handedly defeated the Pistons in last year's Eastern Conf. Finals. Boston has been tested enough this playoffs to negate the team experience factor that the so-called experts are using to explain their choice of DET over BOS. Stephen A. Smith is a Boston-hater. Barry is well Barry, but my point is that everybody is looking at how Boston has been forced to game 7's, and how DET can sneek in Boston, and steal one. I don't know we'll have to wait, and see. That's something an "expert" won't tell you that they don't know. That they were wrong, especially Stephen A. Smith without saying let's go on to some other point. Can't count SAS yet until NOH nails the coffin shut. New Orleans matches up better with the Celtics I think, better than LAL. Well, I'm through. Only time will tell if the Celtics hoist a 17th Championship Banner in the rafters, and the first at the TD Banknorth Garden. R.I.P. Red Auerbach, we know you're watching. Kevin McHale, too.

what else, lakers and celtics of course. i am eagerly waiting for the revival of the rivalry between the lakers and celtics. they are the heavy favorites to win their respective conference as both teams are seeded number one, having the homecourt advantage. the lakers are safely in the western finals while the celtics will battle the cavaliers in game 7. i think in the end, the two will meet in the nba finals.

I am not sure if Spurs are going to get past Hornets, Every homes has won their home games in this series. I am guessing Game 7 is going to go the same route unless Timmy(Duncan) can be the beast he is capable of being. That being said, I am sure CP3 is going to have a great game & it is going to be Lakers Vs Hornets.
