No, I do not agree with this. now if you would go to bed right after you eat, this is not good. But I myseld do sleep alot because I am disabled, and have a lot of health problems that cause me to be very tired. I am not fat, nor am I over weight.I really think it all depends on what you eat also.

it depends when you sleep. if you sleep immediately after you eat, yes that will make you fat. i read that you need to wait at least 3 hours after eating before you sleep, and the longer the better. also, not getting enough sleep (7 to 8 hours a day) will actually make you fat. i don't remember the reasoning behind it though.

Just like we need 8 glasses of water a day when we are dieting (or not dieting), we also should have 8 hours of sleep.
I have actually read in a couple of different sources that a lack of sleep can cause weight gain. Adequate sleep is paramount if you want to lose weight.

Actually, it's the opposite. And I am living proof. Since I have been out of high school, I've had more hours of sleep than my entire life. I've lost over fifteen pounds because of sleep. I can also control my weight easily. Plus, I only eat one meal a day. Dinner, mostly. But, I do have snacks after dinner and when I decide do go to sleep. It's not a diet that I would recommend to anyone. Unless you have the time.

hey there dex.ohh this question really made me gis actorggle lol..there are soo many factors over weight people there is not just one..imsure the people thatt are serioulsy lazy and just eat sleep and watch tv,,ya sleeping is a factor in that role..but there are other things that are the culprats lol.but also keep in mind there are people that work late..so they eat late..sometimes right before bed..and they sleep more because that is soo very bad,,thats a huge weight gain as well..and i know many manyvery thin people that sleep a ll the time..and they never gain a pound..soo its not just sleeping that makes weight gain..have a good one! new research is showing that people who get less than enough sleep get fat. This has just come out. I don't not like the stereotypes people have of fat people. It is very wrong to make assumptions about fat people, yo don't know them personally and what the reasons are that make them fat.

I don't agree with you, because that make a person became fat is too much eat late at night. for example in my family, we also have dinner at 9 o'clock. almost my brother became very fat.

I think it depends on the person's metabolism. But personally, i feel i'm getting fat when I sleep more.
