I had to recently break up with my fiancee ...there were issues. it was very hard to cope with it at first but my friends helped me out a lot. so have you ever had to do this with your fiancee or girlfriend and how did you cope with the aftermath?

Well I have broke up with boyfriends before (I'm female). It is never easy but is sometimes a necessary evil. If things are not working out, or that person is not the one then it is silly to continue with the relationship. Sometimes breaking up is the best thing for both parties. It doesn't mean that it is easy, nobody likes to hurt people, but just remember in the long run it is the right thing to do.

here here. thats exactly what my reasoning was when i broke up with my ex. i saw a major problem brewing and it was the only viable answer i could come up with...i was willing to compromise and she wasn't really willing to reciprocate.

I'm a girl so I broke up with men.... as for that... I haven't had good luck with relationships mostly because it seems i'm not ready for them or i haven't found the right man.
I broke it to them softly. most of my ex's are my friends. But i can't say i ever really loved them the way i did with one man... but he is to never be, although we are best friends.
It always hurts to break someone's heart because you know they are totally in love with you and there's only one thing or another that's wrong but I don't want them to change what they do because of me, I have decided though if they did truely want to be with me they would try to change, because I always told them what was wrong. None of them have done anything about it so they may not have really truely loved me.
Anyways I'll get what's coming to me I know I will.

eh I've never really done that then again being female it was mostly the males who dumped me. My first boyfriend hurt me the most i believe because we had known each other for so long and i loved him so much...seems he didn't reciprocate. He told me that he didn't know how to love and i would be better off moving on with my life and what not. Well needless to say i was extreamly upset cried over it for weeks really along with some other issues that came up with that relationship. In the end i did move on and me and him are still good friends but it was still difficult and even now he admits he kinda wish he didn't do it because now he's missed out on something good seeing as he saw his fault and I'm now with some one else.
