Well one of my friend's brother got married to a girl he met online. I don't know if they are still together or not.

My fiance and I met on AOL (lol). And we've lived together for almost two years, we dated for two years before that. He's the most amazing person! I think meeting online takes all the pressure away from the first impression. I've heard of those that didn't work though, the internet is just like any other way of meeting people.

I have. :) It was over 6 years ago. We dated for about 3 months though. We became very close. Unfortunately he was a "bad boy" type so he wasn't looking to settle down. I talk to him here and there and he still does not want to get married...ever... He's already been married and that was hard on him...so I think that scarred him! :( Oh well. I am now married to someone else and fairly happy. what about you? :)

I have met ppl from online but usually jus friends. Nothing that I was looking into making a relationship out of. Like on Myspace its very popular for pregnancy and I met one of the ppl I went thru my pregnancy with after our children were born so that they could meet...

Yep.I met my husband online at an adult dating site.We dated for six months then moved in together.Four years later we married and that was a year and a half ago.;-)

I met my ex boyfriend from a dating online agency and we was together for 6 months and now i have also met my currant partner from the internet aswell and we are very happy

I'm not living with him yet although I did live at his place over the summer. I am, however, engaged to him. Does that count? :P And I know one other person who has met her boyfriend online, and another person who made really good friends with someone online and they're inseperable now (in person, I mean). So it does happen... probably more often than people think.

No, I haven't- I've always been a bit afraid and overly cautious about it. Although I am giving it some serious consideration now. I'm not having much luck with the men in the real world!! I've heard both good and bad things, and I think that the key is to be sensible, cautious, and not to jump into anything too fast. It's really no different than the real world, really- as I've found out, you never can tell what you're getting into for sure until you're there.

Well, at some points I certainly wish that I did. Then again, the subconscious thought of never really knowing where the person came from might eat at me late at night. I wish I had a chance since I just like to experiment with different life situations and experiences.
