I have lost my maternal grandfather. He passed away as of early in the morning of Friday, May 16th. I was so devastated. I first saw this obituary/article my oldest sister emailed to me. When I first saw it, I was like "I cannot believe it at all." I knew that he was really sick and had been in the hospital for long. I just felt that he was not gonna last that long at all. I felt horribly upset about it. And I still gonna feel this horrible loss. I sure will miss him so dearly a lot forever. It was my mother's father. I always enjoyed spending lots of time with him. He used to be a trucker for a company. He retired as a sawer at a sawmill. He loved bingo, bowling, golf, baseball, jigsaw puzzles, and tv. He was a World War II veteran in the Europe theatre, in the army. I loved him so dearly. Well, he will be missed forever. He is in a perfect place now. At least he is not suffering, sick, or in pain anymore. Now that he is in Heaven with his original family. Now that he is looking into our hearts. The memorial services are on Monday night. I always think of him a lot. I am still upset and devastated right now. It will be for a long while. But I will still be ok for now, doing stuff and working. I sympathized specially my mother, my grandma, and my aunts already.

Yes, it's so sad. We never want to say goodbye to a loved one.. even when we know we will see them again.. and then this life will be but a mere second of a memory compared to all the time we will be together.. Yet it still breaks our heart doesn't it.. All the best to you.. and your family at this time. May you celebrate his life!
