what is wrong with some men that even when you have broken up they decide to get jealous and rip the crap out of you for talking to another guy even though it is none of the ex boyfriends business anymore.

Ex boyfriends or even ex-girlfriends can be nasty things when they are like that. Jealousy, possessiveness, these are traits that scare me the most and if any girl exhibits those, I run away fast. I don't care how beautiful or desirable she is. I'm outta there, pronto!!

I guess it takes a little while to fully clean up the memories, and fully refresh again ! But , it depends on the person and the relationship between the two ! May be so many things to remember !
