I have seen and responded to all kinds of food discussions here at mylot, but not for cheese. I was born and raised in Wisconsin, so I guess it is a good discussion for me to start. Especially due to the fact that I like almost all cheese, but for a favorite I would have to say sharp cheddar. What is yours?

Woohoo, cheese rules! I agree. I had to add that my favorite commercial, of all time is this one:
I LOVE that commercial too! We actually put out cheese for santa because of that commercial. My Daughter wanted to and well, why would I ever refuse? Cheese is better than cookies.

Esrom? I think you have found a cheese I don't know about. Some people say gouda is nasty, buy I love that, too.

I have not had those in a long time. I must fix that wrinkle in enjoyment of life. Maybe today. Thanks for reminding me.

As for just ONE cheese it would have to be Ve;lveeta processed cheese bricks. Other than that I love the mexican blend bags of cheese and I love just munching on Mozzarella from the bag or block. Are you still in WI?

Velveeta makes some wonderful mac n cheese, too!! Mozzarell sticks, oohh I am getting hungery! No, I live in Michigan now. I moved to MI in 1984. My kids dad moved to MN when we split up in 1985. I have spent more time in MN than WI in the last 20 years. I love Taylor's Falls area!! I live by Lake Saint Clair.

Ahmmm. I think i might be the spoiler to this discussion but let me give my apologies first off and then say.....
None. I dont eat cheese and have never done so since childhood. An easter favorite in my country is bun and cheese. There's no Easter if there is no bun and cheese.
Well when that time comes around its no difference for me. I just have my bun all by itself. You know what they say...Practice becomes perfect and I have mastered that art since childhood. (lol)

Do tell me you are allergic and it is not a conscious decision in your life to exclude my wonderful cheese. LOL I have a few allergies, but none to food.
