I've got the best tip for dry skin. Awhile back, the skin on my hands and knuckles kept drying out and cracking. Mostly, it was from dishwater and harsh household cleansers Nothing worked to get rid of the dry, flaky skin. Hand creams didn't seem to help. They would only lubricate my skin temporarily and then get washed off. In desperation, I tried a very unusual treatment.
I put a little bit of lip gloss on the dry spots and scaly patches on my hands. It wasn't suitable for wide spread applications. But, the lip gloss worked perfectly on the really dry patches. The best lip gloss to use for dry patches on hands and arms is the ELF (Eyes Lips Face) brand. You can find their store online, by going to Google and doing a search for ELF cosmetics.
They're the best. I think it works because of the special healing emoillents in the lip gloss. I've tried other lip glosses for the same purpose and it doesn't work as well. So, that's my free beauty tip. Please share a tip for beauty or skin care.

Thanks for the tip. In winter I get dry skin and that really sucks. The great thing about your tip is that it does not cost extra money and also very easy to get done. In coming winter I will be ready with another good weapon against my dry skin:).

I have a tip and it was actually told to me by a metrosexual man. He said if you have dry skin on your face, to mix together equal parts olive oil and aloe vera gel. Then apply to the dry area of your skin before you go to sleep. I told my mom this tip and she went from having skin flaking off her face to not having any trouble at all.

Really, I didn't know that! In fact, I recently sent in my first order from ELF. I found a coupon for free shippng, so I went ahead and ordered a few things. I haven't received them yet, but one of the items I ordered was a lip gloss, so I'll try it. I have really dry patches of skin.
