Things that drive me crazy!

Too many remotes - I know there is something called a "universal remote" I think I have two or three of them! But I never can make them work when I need to! Sometimes I just want to throw them across the room!

I consider myself a pretty patient person, but sometimes I could throw things. It occurred to me today while I was trying to open a plastic bag to put some tomatoes in, that I wanted to growl and tear it apart. (I wondered what the other shoppers would do I if I really did that!) Then I thought of a few other things that drive me nuts: Trying to open the plastic bags at the produce stand at the supermarket. Trying to figure out which remote to use on the tv/dvd and how to program it. Opening a "child-proof" cap on a medicine bottle Untangling the garden hose and getting all the kinks out Finding which light is not working on the string of Christmas tree lights. Anybody else care to share the things that drive them crazy?

I agree. Those produce plastic bags drive me nuts. I'm not a fan of childproof caps either. I don't like battery operated toys that don't include batteries. I don't care if they charge extra for them. It's really a pain to have to search for batteries when all the child wants to do is run the toy.

Childproof caps? Don't get me started on those. I feel they are adultproof not childproof. I hate the battery purchase we have to make after we get home with the toys realizing then and not at the stores as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

People messing with my puter and it's desktop settings. HAHAHA! Trying to get those bags opened at the produce section are so annoying as well. People leavinga small amount of milk or beverage in the fridge. I'm talking a sip or less. Too many more to mention. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh yes! I've been just waiting for the chance to list a few! Opening any package these days from the store. Opening up a trash or recycling plastic bag. Going through junk mail for the millionth time! When so many trees could have been saved. Reading the (tiny, tiny) recycle symbol on the bottom of some things! Did I mention opening any sort of package anymore?

Waiting in a line at the supermarket when the cashier is have a full conversation with the custumer, trying to get cream out of a brand new tube and having one of those small pin hole tin things on it, eating at a dirty table at a fast food restaurant, going to a public bathroom and having no paper to wipe with, and when I get behind a slow driver.

You hit on one thing that definitely tries to mess with my head, those plastic bags for produce! You almost have to lick your fingers to separate the sack, and you really don't want to be licking your fingers after you've touched anything at a supermarket. Another thing that drives me crazy is someone who calls, and has nothing to say. I mean they call you and wait for YOU to make the conversation. I'm not talking about someone needing comfort, just someone who is bored and decides to bring their boredom to you, lol.

I hate it when someone touches my things without my permission. I hate them fidgeting with my things. Two years back, one guy, a classmate of mine tried to move my bag to a different place while I was talking on the phone and in that moment, i just grabbed his neck and the whole class was shocked. That was my first and last display of emotions in the class an they are kinda surprised by the way I manage my emotions. i also hate it when people use my computer and electronics. I even dont like my sister using the computer. bourne

When others use your things, they never leave them the way they are supposed to, huh? Thanks for your reply.

Exactly.. They change the settings, meddle with the way I manage them, especially my electronics... I hate my mum cleaning my room. The other day, she messed up my whole arrangement of books..All my reference books were packed in bags ... I was so damn angry, but couldn't help it.. Now I have to search where they are whenever I want to refer to some books... Yeah I agree the way I arranged them was pretty messed up already, but it was easier for me to search for the book I want, but no, they don't understand.. bourne

What drives me crazy??? My husband can't seem to or won't sort the laundry as he takes off his clothes, just throws them all in a bundled up heap inside his wet towel Lately on of my friends, whenever I see her, for some reason she thinks she needs to play 20 questions with me. It drives me absolutely crazy!!!! I can't stand it. My stepmom does this with me also but I'm not around her that much anymore now that we live apart, but I just don't know what to say so they will stop doing that.

I think husbands go to school to learn that! My husband used to throw his on the floor right beside the laundry bin!!!! I know what you mean about 10,000 questions, too! Thanks for the reply.

It drives me nuts when I go to a store and the person in front of me waits until they're given the total to pull out their money, card, check, etc. In those few minutes they are standing there, they could have written out their check or swiped their card. But noooo! They wait. You know the Visa commercials where they show everyone using a card but then there's that one person that puts a halt to everything because they're writing a check? I felt like I was in one of those not long ago!

I can't stand the new packaging they have these days. Anything I buy that is contained in molded, vacuumed plastic. I think they even make a device you can buy now to get into it. It's probably in one of those molded, vacummed plastic packages though. I can't stand all the inserts in the magazines. When ever I get a Reader Digest I spend the first few minutes ripping them out. That bundle of flyers I waste my time walking to the mailbox for every Thursday. Realizing all the washers are missing out of all the waterhose. Which means everything leaks. What really ticks me off is getting ready to cut grass only to find out the gas can I filled up two days before is empty. Man, the list goes on, better stop here.

Oh, yes! I would have to add those plastic packages that are impossible to get anything out of! You're right--the list could get very long! Thanks for the reply.

OMG Right now... It is fellow co-workers who think people don't notice how much they slack off, and disregard general workplace safety. Little does he know he's on his way out the door...!

I'm a very hot tempered person and it really drives me crazy when people talk to me when I'm not in the mood. I know I'm weird. But I'm trying hard not to be hot tempered.

It's good to work on controlling your temper. How do people know when you are not in the mood to talk. Are you able to tell them? Thanks for your reply and welcome to myLot.
