How Often Are You Nice/Courteous On MyLot? Or Are You At All?

Discussion I decided to start here, it hit me one day when I saw that not a lot of people are responsive when they add me sometimes as a friend. Nothing against any of my friends and this is in NO way directed to them. But, recently I noticed for myself that until late I had not been leaving a "Thanks for the add" message when someone added me as a friend. If not at least sending them a message saying thank you, if I was not able to leave a message on their profile.
So my question to you mylotters is, do YOU leave Thank You's or other messages on your friends profiles? Are you Nice, Courteous, or just try to be friendly once you have gotten that add? Do you turn on your notifiers so you can see their discussions they start so you can help them with theirs and also have ones to respond to? Or do you just get the friend and then go on to the next hoping they will respond to your stuff?
Until recently I personally would have been in the latter category truthfully as I didn't KNOW about notifiers or how to really leave messages very easily and quickly. Now I do have notifiers all on and make SURE to at least leave a thanks for the add message on every add. I try to visit each friend once a week a few times each as possible if not more when I can. But this is me personally. Just something I thought I would bring up and see how others think and act. My two cents...Whats yours?

I'm always trying to keep courteous on MyLot. But I just don't have much time so I just try to be as nice as possible

While I have every intention of being nice, I could still be a lot nicer. I am sometimes very slow in my replying to responses on my discussions and I have a long list waiting for a best response.
Having said all of that I have notifications turned on for a good number of my friends and there are a few that I respond to all the time. There are however some of my friends list that I never see. It is all a game of give and take really!
I hope you like myLot

I have 150 "friends" and of those, I don't suppose that I have had more than 15 "thank yous". I have only ever asked eight people to be my friend and half of those were because I wanted to send them a PM. I usually do send a thank you when I have asked for friendship, but I don't expect it. Nice to get one though. My notifications are turned on to my closest friends only, not more than about ten. More than that and I cannot cope with the volume of e mails. I do regularly search the discussions columns though. Despite myLot advising against it, I also try to answer every response on one of my discussions. I think that is only polite.

Ya I try to keep up on a lot of different things, its new to me some of the stuff I am trying to do but I am working on it. The replies to comments is one too but sometimes I can't do them all though I am sure mine are much less compared to some others lol.

I try to be courteous to everyone and to respond to all
my friends discussions. to reply to those who responded to my own discussions and give out best responses as soon as
I can. I do not always get to everything at once but I am
in there trying as hard as I can.

I do try to be somewhat involved in their conversations once we become friends. I think I have sent 2 friend requests, and received about 40 so far. I like to see what my friends are responding to and starting, and I do respond to a lot of the discussions, but not all.
I also don't turn my notifications on. I have a hard enough time trying to delete my email without 5000 notifications in there daily. I usually check out what my friends are posting every other day or so, and respond if I feel I have something to add.

On mylot, we all have to be real courteous at all costs. And we certainly gotta help each other. So we are all friends that help each other. And we do lots of certain discussions, which are important. For me, I think that is the best idea to receive email notifications from mylot. And respond to discussions from there; the fast way. I do have lots of mylot friends in three pages. So thank you for this important discussion. This will help us to get to know each other.
