Do you have Visit Card?

i dont have a Visit Card, and i dont know what that is actually lol! is it like a business card with your company name and your contact information on it? why is it called a Visit Card? or am i missing it completly..its not like an access card or something right?

..that reminds me I want to make myself a new business card for over the summer when I'm so much more out and about..

Do you mean it's something like a business card except it has your personal information on it? If so then I would not want to give out my address and phone number to everyone I make contact with.

What is that visit card, it is the same as the calling card we have. If it is the same I do have also and i received a lot from visitors from clients and from workers in different offices. We need that, but sometimes because of the many visitors we have here in the office but most just need me I just gave them a handwritten note of my name and my contact addrss in the office.

I keep and use business cards or visit cards as you are accustomed to call them. I think that they are handy instead of looking for a pen and a piece of paper which usually gets thrown away thinking it is trash. They also fit in your wallet easier when you receive them than a napkin or piece of paper. If it is someone I met before I ask them before I leave if they have my card so as not to waste or offend the person.

I am guessing you mean business card and no I dont give them out to much even if I have a business to advertize

I do hold name cards but unfortunately I do not normally carry it with me. I had it in my notebook pocket and hence will only give my visit card if I have my notebook with me UNLESS I intentionally bring along the name cards.

I can't say that I do, in fact I have never heard of one, what is a visit card, and what information does it contain.

I too have visiting card alwayz with me..itz really neccesary to keep it to give to anybody especially for business purpose

Hi as2006! We usually call it "calling card" here. I don't have one, but I like to keep the calling cards that are given to me. I am not sure about your customs and traditions during this holiday season, my friend, but with me, I like to greet my friends the best of the holidays. Cheers!
