it's been 2 days seens we left an institution for mental health. It's fun, at the same time exciting you get to know and explore the feelings of those people who are not in their good mental condition. You get to learn from them and they get to learn from you.
these experience thought me many things in life. for example the condition that they are going through inside the institution. I realize that I'm still very lucky because I am normal. Even though there are poblems that comes to my life I have the chance to see my family not like them. Some residents of that institution did spend so much of their life without the presence or the support of their family. They spend the rest of their life there without even communicating with their family. Some of them are cured but there's no family to fetch them in that institution they called jail.
If you could just see them you would be pity to them because, you can see that they are not properly groomed and the you can also see the lack for their skin care.
i know that's its not the institutions fault why those patient suffer, because the needs are met even no totally met. the lack for the proper allocation of budgetis the problem since there are so many institution that suffers not only that institution but there's a lot of institution today suffer not only those institution for mental health but also other institution.....
So I call the government to please help those deprived patients who suffer from improper allocation of budget because they are not the one who suffer.........

I mayself have never been to a institution like the kind you are talking about but I have been in short term care for wanting to harm myself.
My thing was that even though I am there for only a week to get the proper meds that I needed, how the staff thinks that everyone that comes into there is stupid and uneducated, which I am neither.
I actually got tired of the informative sessions that I would hae to sit through, and you don't get out unless you participate in so many of the educational things that you need to know.
It was sad that I was able to bring up some very important points and put the nurse to shame in front of students that was there from a local college.
I have been placed in the hospital 3 times in my life because of depression. I am sad for what some of the others are going through and some are more mental slow, but the reason is all the same for people being there, wanting to harm ourselves.
No, the government does not want to put money into the mental health area because, in my opinion, they don't want some people to get help. There are many actor and actresses that have mental illnesses also, but they have money to get the help needed.
