Yes I have felt it many times. About six months ago I had a terrible situation that was weighing on my mind for every second of the day I couldn't eat, sleep well nothing, I was so depressed. All I would do is cry and was mad for I know it wasn't my fault. I asked god to please take over the situation for I couldn't deal w/ it anymore for he knew what the real trueth was. Everyday I felt like he was not listening to me and months wents by and I only got madder for I would cry hard and say over and over "god I didn't do what this person says I did please get them to tell the trueth please" Well come to find out that about a week ago I got a message on my answering machine saying that everything was dropped and I didn't have to report to this meeting I was suppose to go to on June 19th at 9am. I called them and said "what do you mean I don't have no appointment at 9am w/ you guys?" they simply said "the case was dropped and you have no appointment w/ us" I still argued the point and said "But I have the paper right here from you guys that states I have to be at your office June 19th at 9am" They just told me to diregaurd the notice and have a good day. I was so happy that I could've cried for god actually was listening to me all along he just took things in his own time and manner to get the problem resolved which seemed like forever. I can say god works in maserious ways when we least expect it I know he did for me.

It is good to hear testimonies like yours. Here in Jamaica you hear christians say that God is Slow but he is sure and reading your discussion give to the attest that yes he is slow but he is sure. There is also another saying that when you leave something in God hands leave it there and do not take it back and that is exactly what you did. God comes through for you so he is definitely listening to us.
So it goes to say yes God is Listening even if we are not listening to him he never let's us down.

Yes, there are times when I feel God is not listening to me. And I think it is quite normal and inevitable to feel like that sometimes, if we consider that even Jesus, when he was on the cross, had a moment when he thought the Father had abandoned him. In those moment we don't have to rely on what we feel, but on what we know and we believe. One of the things that makes the forces of darkness so powerful and destructive is that they can deceive us into thinking evil is forever and there will be no light in the future. But we know from our own life and experience that is not true. Tomorrow always brings new hopes and a new light in the dark.
