After life as a college student, my friends and I went on our different paths. We still try to make contact through emails and messeges. Some have moved abroad and other in different provinces that we barely see each other anymore. Because of the distance and the short time that we've spent in college. how can you be sure that you've made a difference in their lives? How can you say that after a while the friendship you've shared wouldn't be forgotten and that you aren't just a blip in their lives? For some that stayed behind, we try to see each other still but it's hard when some are working and others have continued on to medical school.
We all have been through ups and downs together. We've had a lot of good times as well as bad. So many memories and treasured moments have piled up high that I keep wondering if in time it will be forgotten. Especially since now we're busy with our respective goals. So I ask how long does it take to make a difference in someone's life? How long does it take for us to meet a person and be friends? What does it take to remember the past and still keep on going with no regrets?

i dont think there is a standard time. it depends on the openness of the person to let you in and let you affect and change them.
