How do you know if it's real love?

I know there's no guidelines but how do you know it's real? Is it your instincts? Or do you see it at the first glance? Or do you assess the person?

I dont think theres any such thing as love at first sight lust maybe, for me knowing I love someone is to know them completley inside out all the good and the bad and want to be with them anyway wanting to have them close to you and to share things with them.
I fell in lust with my man the first time we met, we fell in love a bit later on once we knew each other and found out the things about each other that we love, now 7 years on its a different kind of love that I think only comes with living and sharing your life with someone.

Well it's not always lust at first site , i too don't believe in love at first site but Liking someone at first site maybe. For loving someone you need to know the person ,about the personal likes and dislikes, attitude,temperament,etc. Just seeing a person and ahh i am In love is not the kind of person I am ,yes seeing someone pretty i just tell to myself I like her but love comes slowly as you said by knowing hime or her.

im not really an expert in love and honestly until now i don't know how to discover the true love.
but one thing i know, is that i won't know if its really love i f i won't try to go in a relationship. i always consider people who come into my life. but of course if im not interested with them, i say no instantly. but love really depends on us people. but trying to love someone is the best thing to do to know if its the true love we're waiting for!

Yes, you're right there isn't any guidelines to know whether it is real love. But, of course you also have to know if it's real or not. I only can say that only we can figure out if it's real or not.
