Two dogs too many?

I have two dogs. We are able to take care of both of them. I was talking to a young lady from Germany and she says people there do not have more animals than they can take care of. I think that is being a responsible person. It upsets me when people take animals and then drop them off out in the rural areas because they no longer can take care of them or just don't want them. How do you feel?

I think the suitable amount is depend on each person.
For me, two dogs are OK.
I can take care them and they enjoy.

i have 3 dogs and we are fine looking after them and if it wasnt so expensive to keep them i would have loads more i wouldnt get rid of them or leave them and i would make sure they were all happy. i hate it when i hear of people leaving dogs and mistreating them. i think everyone should borrow a dog for afew weeks and see if it works and if they can handle a dog before they buy one that way there wont be as many dogs abandoned!
