Crying over your child for no reason?

I have a beautiful 2 year old girl. Since I have had her, my life has been complete. She makes me laugh with her cute, and funny personality. But sometimes when I watch her play, sleep, eat....I start crying! I get this feeling that over comes me that just makes me cry. I worry about her being hurt, about something bad happening to her, the thought of never seeing her again just kills me inside. I know when you first become a Mother you are filled with emotions, but she is 27 months now. I don't know if it is because I am a single mother, and knowing the responsibility is all on me? If I make a wrong decision, it's my fault if it effects her in a bad way?Is there any other Mothers who feel this way? Or am I just too emotional?
