how good is being healthy? and who here actually trys to be healthy, by going to the gym and eating well?
apart from the obvious that you live a longer and happier life.
i try very much to be healthy but unfortunatly i go through phases and 1 month i might be healthy and eat well and go to the gym all the time (and i feel great during that month) and then i could go to a big party, start drinking and before you know it im to hung over to go to the gym and i pretty much dont go for a month or two untill i get my act back into gear.
so for me being healthy makes you live longer and have a happier life and i try to be healthy quite often and i try so i dont die young and i dont get any health problems.
what about you guys?

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity that makes people able to lead a socially and economically productive life.
So it is quite a holistic concept.
But the key ingredient is how you define the definition of health to you?
What are the limitations and what are the efforts that you are willing to provide to fulfill your level of health.
have a good day.

I agree with you. For me, I try to be healthy because I am always geting sick these past few months. It is so hard to get sick so it is really important to take care of our body (physical and mental/emotions).

Yeah I try to but when you've got a partner that does those sorts of things you can easily be persuaded to ditch the exercise regime and go out and party. You both have to be strong.

I try to be healthy but am not a health fanatic. I take the right vitamins and food but I eat other things too. Theres a point where I feel that trying to be healthy can take the joy out of life. That joy can make you more healthy depending on what it is. The main thing is to go to bed at the proper time when your body heals most. That time is between 10:00pm-2:00am. I don't always do that but I know I should. If anybody didn't know about the proper bed time I'm glad to offer my advice.
