FOOD! im talking about food! do you need to eat with the lights on? do you mind eating in the dark? how much light do you need in order to eat? i really hate to eat with the lights off.. even at a movie theatre its a rare occasion that ill eat something because i really need to see whats going in my mouth! im a night person and i tend to eat after the rest of my family is asleep and instead of turning on all the lights to eat i use a light most would use for reading books i guess.. anyways ya i need light or i wont eat the food.. i dont even like candle lit.. i prefer perfect vision on whatever i eat.. though i can eat a candle lit dinner or in a dim lit room i would much rather see full color and everything on my plate etc etc..

So, I am guessing you do not eat while you are driving at night either then. I can eat with just the light from the computer monitor, television screen, or movie screen.

i drive inside at night :) i work in a factory so its always well lit unless theres a power outage i suppose and then theres just those back up emergency lights on.. but ya i dont mind eating then of course hehe ;) i dont find the light from a screen bright enough.. last night when i made this discussion i was eating some cereal in front of the computer and i had to get the light and point it at my bowl because the monitor just wasnt bright enough for my liking! lol even for something so plain as cereal that i put in a bowl i had to see what i was eating before i put it in my mouth

Yes, only a dim light would be enough, but there should be light when I'm eating... Why?? Indian food usually consists of chillies and I hate chillies. Ahh.. They spoil the palate and make me feel sick. So i have to have the lights on to find the, if any, and get them out and then eat my food. Although usually, I eat while watching a movie, so lights are off. But sometimes, i keep the lights on to make sure that It's going in the hole ... bourne

I don't think it minds how lighted the room is I can eat in a theater without problems and I love to eat out on a deck.

Interesting topic! It doesn't bother me at all to eat in the dark, as long as it's some type of finger food. If it has to be cut up to eat, or it's something like soup, then I need to see what I'm doing. I guess the only thing that bothers me about eating in the dark is when I'm in a restaurant and the lights are so low that I can't read the menu!

Prince, my husband is the same way. He must have full light on his meal. I am kinda in between, I have to have some light, LMAO but it does no have to be 150 watt to see my dinner.
