Do you remember Blue Oyster Colt? Can you remember them being played on the radio before there were classic rock stations? It is festival season in my area and we have a festival of some sort every weekend for months. I particularly love the music fesitvals. I enjoyed hearing Blue Oyster Colt play. Do you like them? Do you have a favorite song? Mine is probably 'Dont fear the reaper'..... but Godzilla was sure a real crowd pleaser.

You know that name doesn't ring a bell for me at all - I wonder if they were ever in the Uk really? I am going to try and look them up and see if there is anything i recognise! xxx

First of all I hate to be the one to correct you but it is Blue Oyster Cult!! And yes they are one of the BEST classic rock bands our country ever had!! One of my favorites is "Burnin' For You" "After Dark" "Godzilla" "Don't Fear the Reaper" "Fire of Unknown Origin" and others just to name a few.

Yes, I stand corrected on that. Someone else pointed out my typo. They were great in concert. Thanks for the response.

I love Blue Oyster Cult. I went with my mom to see them several years ago. I was really impressed with them. It's amazing to me how some of these older bands are still rocking. Some of my favorite concerts have been bands like Blue Oyster Cult and Styx. Actually now that I think about it Blue Oyster Cult is the band that opened up for Styx. Both bands were amazing. I would have to say my favorite Blue Oyster Cult song is Don't Fear the Reaper as well. Such an awesome song!

I love both "Don't Fear The Reaper" and "Godzilla". That had to have been great hearing them sing.
